Netbeans IDE 7.2.1: Cannot load platform/lib/nbexec.dll module

One of the error which you might have encountered is Cannot load “platform/lib/nbexec.dll”. The specified module could not be found.(126)

But what to do if this error comes, don’t worry. It can be resolved.

First thing you can do is just check in task manager if there is any Netbeans instance is still there. If it is there remove it.

Then restart the Netbeans again.

If you still find the same error just Go to the Netbeans IDE shortcut icon on the Desktop, right click and select the option run as and run it with Administrator.

If this thing also do not works then

Just right click on the Netbeans IDE shortcut icon on the Desktop, click on Properties, and change path in the “Start in” box from

“C:\Program Files\NetBeans 7.2.1″

to

“C:\Program Files\NetBeans 7.2.1\bin”
