VMware Workstation 8.0.2 is released with two supports.

VMware has released VMware workstation 8.0.2 which is the updated version of VMware workstation, a desktop virtualization software. This minor update release is done for mainly to provide
1. Supporting Ubuntu 11.10 as a host.
2. Supporting Fedora 16 as a guest.
3. Also lots of customer reported issues has been resolved in this release.

With the above resolved issues you will be able to install and run VMware workstation 8.0.2 on Ubuntu 11.10 host without any issues such as copying and pasting of a guest, key repeat issues etc.

In this release VMware has also fixed issue of shared folders for Fedora 16 guest and OpenSuse 12.1 guest. This will ensure smooth install of guest OS and VMware tools.

This is a free update from VMware to all VMware workstation 8 users.
